Online tutoring is available for students enrolled in online classes and distance learners.
During these appointments, you and a tutor will work together in MyWCOnline’s system using video chat to address any questions or concerns you have about your writing. In these appointments, you and the tutor will be online at the same time. We try, to the degree that we can, to mimic our on-site services. Please note that you can attach a file to when you book an online appointment, but tutors do not review documents ahead of time.
For online appointments, you will need access to either a desktop or laptop computer. Tablets and phones do not support our software. You will also need a microphone and, ideally, a webcam.
Note: If you sign up for an online appointment and are not an online student or a distance learner, your appointment will be cancelled, and you will be asked to make an in-person appointment.
If you are interested in an online appointment, you can book an appointment with a tutor at fsu.mywconline.com. Any tutors available for online appointments will be labeled “Face-to-Face and Online.”
Before your first online appointment, please review our online tutoring guide, which explains how MyWCOnline’s online tutoring function works.
